Introduction: The Enigma of Awareness

These are my... Chronic Chronicles... enjoy.

A fundamental definition of awareness, is the act of physically surveying one's surroundings, extending one's consciousness beyond the confines of the body through the agency of the eyes. This is analogous to any sensory organ. All are designed to furnish us with the most comprehensive awareness possible. What distinguishes awareness is its origin.

I personally believe that no one has yet been able to definitively state, "I underwent a cerebral experience that revealed the exact source of awareness."

The consciousness is nothing more than a metaphysical entity residing within our brains. Moreover, there is a specific locus from which it emanates.

Part I: The Injuries of Enlightenment

Throughout my life, my brain has endured several injuries, one of which damaged a primary neural pathway utilized by the conscious mind for a unique progression. As a result of this damage, my conscious mind became confined to a smaller region of the brain.

The only discernible consequence was a reduction in cognitive space available for intellectual pursuits.

The conscious mind is designed to have access to the entire brain for unrestricted movement. I was deprived of the freedom of thought, and my intellectual capacity was diminished, as the mind requires extensive space to function optimally.

The last traumatic brain injury I sustained primarily damaged the area of the brain where my conscious mind had been residing. This, coupled with severe working memory complications (which fortunately resolved as my brain returned to normal functioning), caused my conscious mind to resist occupying the damaged region.

Lessons from the Injured Qualia

This was the most extraordinary experience I have ever had. Focus governs the direction of the conscious mind. Therefore, it was my focus that compelled it to traverse a smaller neural pathway. In doing so, my entire existence was compressed into a minuscule region of the brain. I could feel something moving in the direction of my focus.

Moreover, due to this entity emitting pure energy, known as awareness, I could perceive the pure energy of awareness emanating from it, which made me awake of the smaller path it was utilizing. I felt something diminutive emitting pure awareness. Upon exiting the smaller pathway, I experienced immediate relief, as if my brain had been forced through a cake icing bag and had finally emerged.

The lesson here is that the conscious mind is a metaphysical entity within our brains. It is the source of awareness. It utilized a smaller neural pathway to escape the damaged area and reach the stimulated regions.

Part III: The Intelligence of the Soul

Needless to say, I can also attest to intelligence being merely a characteristic of the conscious mind and its capacity for understanding. This also underscores the fact that intelligence originates from the conscious mind, as it is the subconscious mind that interprets our genetic code and performs all the bodily processes necessary for survival.

So, the next time you doubt your intelligence, remember that it is your intelligence that keeps you alive, making you at least that smart. Intelligence can be considered the ability of living beings to comprehend. It is what makes sense of all the data stored in the brain. Even the concept of thought would not exist without intelligence. One would need to have learned and know how to use their native language in order to formulate a sentence.

Memory is akin to the hard drive of the brain, while intelligence is like its central processing unit, directing "the computer" to access the required data. Without intelligence, human beings would cease to exist. In reality, intelligence is a characteristic of the soul, which is immutable, meaning you are born with the intelligence you will have. Intelligence can be thought of as the manner in which the brain functions. A hard drive is merely a hard drive unless there is another device instructing it what to do.

The Nature of Consciousness

Consciousness is its own metaphysical entity within our brains. It is what makes you aware of your internal organs and gives you the ability to control (some of) them. All sensory organs are essentially devices that process sensory data and enhance our awareness.

We are born with the appropriate equipment to be aware of all sensory data in existence. Even when considering the possibility of multiple dimensions, we would observe the same phenomenon: sensory data that we lack the proper organic machinery to process or interpret.

Human beings need not concern themselves with things that cannot interact with them. Instead, they should focus on understanding that personality is nothing more than an external manifestation of their soul. How you choose to express yourself is a reflection of who you are.

The conscious mind resides within the brain. It is nothing more than pure awareness, conveyed through an energy it emits. It is a very potent energy. This makes me wonder if there is a way to artificially transfer consciousness to a third party in the event of a failing body.

Part IV: Consciousness and its The Moral Implications

This raises numerous moral questions, such as what would happen to our bodies if our souls were not present (AKA, a "Philosophical Zombie"). Can a conscious mind leave a body without killing it? After all, the subconscious mind is the lightning-fast network that the conscious mind utilizes to keep the body functioning properly. It is the entity that gives life to the body and utilizes the information stored in the brain.

Without a soul, we would be mere machinery operating without purpose. Life is all about personal growth, which we achieve through our actions, the most straightforward representation of who we are as individuals.

Our actions define who we are as people. Intelligence enables us to live our lives to the fullest. Do our actions reflect who we truly are? No one can force you to be someone you don't want to be. Free will allows us to decide who we want to be.
